Position summary
This role is for an Inspector on the 2nd shift. The job centers on carrying out routine and non-routine checks of finished products, with varying levels of complexity, to confirm they meet internal standards as well as external customer specifications.
Work schedule
Second shift: 3:00pm to 1:00am, Monday through Thursday.
Key responsibilities
- Follow Integer’s core beliefs along with all safety and quality expectations.
- Carry out visual examination of cases and lids using established methods and product knowledge.
- Report scrap counts and finished goods quantities to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
- Use microscopes to verify defects and confirm that finished products meet visual standards.
- Complete rework tasks when needed.
- Apply customer-specific quality criteria when evaluating parts.
- Resolve routine issues by following written procedures and choosing among predefined solutions.
- Support production teams with product acceptability questions.
- Help train newly hired inspectors.
- Make sure any nonconforming material is properly disposed of before shipment.
- Pack products according to instructions, track material movement, and complete KANBAN tags and scrap reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job requirements
Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of inspection experience. The role requires the ability to use a microscope and operate a computer terminal. Selected hires must complete 40 hours of training and pass a certification exam. Mechanical aptitude and strong hand-eye coordination are also required.

The total rewards package includes base pay, a cash incentive program tied to performance, overtime pay, shift premiums, and call-in pay when applicable.
