The position requires 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.

Technical Expertise Needed

• Hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud data engineering services such as BigQuery and Dataproc.
• Strong programming capability in Python and PySpark for data processing and engineering work.
• Practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing platforms and the core concepts behind them.
• Ability to build, support, and improve ETL pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or Informatica.

Preferred Skills

• Awareness of DevOps principles within the Google Cloud environment.
• Ability to design data models that are efficient, scalable, and well-structured.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools for collaboration and source management.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security practices to help ensure compliance and safeguard sensitive information.
