Role Overview
RAKBANK is seeking a Financial Analyst in the United Arab Emirates to strengthen finance reporting, controls, and decision support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Review financial information and identify trends that help management with reporting and business decisions.
- Carry out and track reconciliations across several banking and finance platforms, and close discrepancies within the required timeframes.
- Contribute to User Acceptance Testing for finance system updates and related process modifications.
- Help collect business needs and confirm system changes so implementations run smoothly.
- Build financial reports, dashboards, and management summaries for key stakeholders.
- Assist with automation efforts and process enhancements that improve efficiency and reinforce financial controls.
- Work closely with Finance, IT, Operations, and Risk teams to support governance, compliance, and operational performance.
- Take part in balance sheet substantiation, risk oversight, and financial control tasks.
Requirements
- You must be a UAE National.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field is required.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance operations, or financial controls.
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting fundamentals.
- Prior exposure to banking products, finance systems, or the wider financial services sector is preferred.
- Experience in finance transformation, process improvement, or automation is considered an added advantage.
- Strong analytical ability with the skill to interpret financial information and turn it into practical insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder handling skills.
