Role overview

Ibn Al Haj Chemicals is hiring a careful and dependable Warehouse Operator for its Dubai location. The position focuses on managing daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities, keeping stock records accurate, and helping maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Accept incoming shipments, check materials and stock for correctness, and compare them with purchase orders while documenting shortages, damages, or other mismatches.
• Prepare customer orders by picking, packing, and getting them ready for dispatch in an accurate and timely manner.
• Store inventory in the right designated locations so space is used well and items remain easy to access.
• Carry out stock checks and cycle counts, and update records using scanners, RF guns, or warehouse management systems.
• Review items for defects, damage, or expiry, and manage returns or quality-related concerns when required.
• Keep the warehouse neat, arranged, and aligned with safety rules at all times.
• Use warehouse tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and other teams to achieve daily receiving, shipping, and production targets.
• Observe company procedures, operating standards, and safety requirements, including correct use of PPE.

Qualifications and requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Commerce, or a related field is needed.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
• Prior experience with Tally is preferred.
• Applicants should have strong attention to detail, good accuracy, and solid organizational ability.
• The role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy environment.
• Good communication skills and a responsible, positive attitude are important.
