Overview
Freedom Pointe at The Villages is seeking a Utility Technician to support kitchen operations in its senior living community in The Villages, Florida. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys serving older adults, working in a hospitality-focused environment, and contributing to a team dedicated to resident-centered care.
The starting pay is $15.00 per hour. The final rate may be higher or lower depending on skills and experience.
The community is located in the center of The Villages, FL, with convenient access through Route 441 and Morse Boulevard. Team members work in an environment built around hospitality, professionalism, and care for residents, coworkers, families, and guests.
Role Summary
This position supports dishwashing, cleaning, and kitchen upkeep tasks. It also plays a part in maintaining sanitary conditions, organizing clean wares, and helping the back-of-house area run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, and related kitchen items, and help with general cleaning tasks.
- Prepare and organize the dishwashing and pot-washing station before use.
- Sort, store, and distribute clean dishes, utensils, and pots.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and production surfaces according to set schedules and procedures.
- Remove trash from containers when required.
