Opportunity Overview

Handshake is seeking seasoned professionals in retail logistics and transportation to contribute to AI research through flexible hourly contract work. This role is unlike a conventional full-time position. It uses your practical background in freight handling, route planning, and supply chain coordination to assess AI-produced outputs and share feedback that improves the model’s understanding of real retail logistics processes.

This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity that can be done alongside your existing commitments.

What You’ll Do

• Apply your industry experience to design advanced training questions and realistic scenarios drawn from retail logistics and transportation operations.
• Check AI-generated answers for factual accuracy and how well they reflect actual freight management and logistics workflows.
• Write clear, structured feedback that supports better AI model performance.
• Work at a self-directed pace, with no fixed schedule and no minimum hourly commitment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in retail logistics or transportation management, in roles such as Transportation Manager, Logistics Manager, Logistics Analyst, TMS Analyst, Distribution Manager, Freight Operations Manager, or Supply Chain Visibility Analyst.
• Practical, hands-on experience with processes like freight invoice auditing and delivery route planning.
• Working familiarity with Oracle OTM, FourKites, or comparable transportation management and supply chain visibility tools.
• Excellent written communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a remote, asynchronous setting.

Additional Information

This is flexible hourly contract work supporting AI research rather than a traditional employment arrangement. The work is ongoing and project-based, with no fixed schedule, no minimum number of hours, and the option to participate around other commitments.
