About the Company
Riyadh Air (RX), based in Saudi Arabia’s capital, is a new national carrier focused on redefining air travel. The airline aims to position the Kingdom as a major global center for aviation and commerce and plans to connect Saudi Arabia to more than 100 destinations as a digitally native airline.
About the Role
This position is suited to a learning and development professional who can turn business learning needs into engaging digital experiences that improve capability and performance across the workforce.
You will take ownership of designing and building learning solutions for Riyadh Air, including digital courses, blended learning programmes, and self-paced learning journeys across the organisation.
The role involves carrying out learning needs analyses, producing strong instructional content, and ensuring quality across all learning materials. You will also handle vendor coordination, manage the content lifecycle, and deliver training for a broad range of business areas.
A major part of the role is to help build a learning environment that supports Riyadh Air’s organisational objectives, follows best practice, and can be measured for effectiveness through collaboration with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate organisational learning requirements into effective digital and blended learning solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain learning content and pathways for multiple business functions.
- Conduct learning needs assessments to identify capability gaps and priorities.
- Create high-quality instructional materials and digital learning assets.
- Oversee quality assurance to keep all learning outputs consistent and effective.
- Manage external vendors and coordinate the full lifecycle of learning content.
- Support training delivery and learning initiatives across the organisation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business goals.
- Help build a measurable learning ecosystem grounded in current best practice.
Candidate Profile
You should hold a degree and bring at least 7 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, Instructional Design, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience with instructional design and eLearning development tools is important, including Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Vyond. You should also be comfortable working with learning analytics, LMS platforms, and project coordination to deliver reliable, high-quality results.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, meticulous, and comfortable with technology, with a genuine interest in new learning tools and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Additional value will be given to candidates who have worked with AI-based learning solutions, immersive learning technologies, or in the aviation sector.
