Role overview
As an Implementation Consultant I, you will help customers move from project kickoff to launch successfully. You will keep work on schedule, coordinate between clients and internal teams, maintain communication through every project stage, and support customers in adopting CivicPlus solutions within the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate customer implementation work, bringing together client contacts and the relevant CivicPlus teams.
- Develop project scope documentation and build timelines that keep delivery aligned with original schedule expectations.
- Deliver training sessions both online and face-to-face so customers are prepared to maintain and use their solution effectively.
- Handle software or system setup and configuration so it fits the customer’s environment.
- Manage small to medium product-specific contracts.
- Complete or coordinate add-on work as required for the product.
- Understand contracts, statements of work, and similar terms well enough to explain them clearly.
- Contribute to product review and improvement efforts.
- Maintain a broad understanding of how CivicPlus products interact with one another.
- Support a positive customer experience through all phases of the project to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Product-specific certifications may need to be obtained after hiring.
- Ability to sit or stand at a computer and monitor for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel efficiently across a large geographic area up to 10% of the time.
- Strong ability to analyze, compare, calculate, evaluate, and assess written material, numerical information, customer feedback, and other work-related data.
- Capability to manage multiple detailed tasks accurately while meeting deadlines, goals, and objectives.
- Confidence in speaking and presenting technical topics to individuals or groups.

Compensation and benefits
The estimated salary grade is $54,100 to $75,700. The expected hiring range is $55,000 to $60,000. Final pay will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience, and is based on a 40-hour work week. Variable pay may also be available based on goals.
