Role Overview
This opening is for a Collaboration Support Engineer based in Bengaluru, India. The position is full time and follows a hybrid schedule: Monday to Thursday in office and Friday work from home. The role supports and maintains Fossil’s collaboration ecosystem to help reduce service interruptions across tools such as Google Workspace, WordPress, DocuSign, ClickUp, QuickBase, Jira, and related platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable support for collaboration applications while meeting response and restoration SLAs.
- Track, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests through IT operations processes and tools.
- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and business users.
- Keep support and application documentation current, accurate, and well organized.
- Work through low- to medium-complexity application issues until resolution.
- Assess the business impact of incidents and communicate clearly with affected users to reduce disruption.
- Share timely status updates with customers and leadership teams.
- Monitor application updates and maintain version control for changes.
- Recommend improvements across supported services and processes.
- Provide application support as part of a rotational on-call arrangement when required.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace is required.
- Experience supporting or administering tools such as WordPress, ClickUp, DocuSign, QuickBase, Jira, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Background in end-user support across a broad range of technologies.
- Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate issues effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters in business language.
- Ability to create structured reports and detailed, accurate documentation.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow or a comparable IT service management platform.
- Understanding of change management, release management, and the software development lifecycle.
