About the Company
Cubit Capital is hiring for Hadrian, a company focused on building autonomous factories that speed up aerospace and defense manufacturing. Its systems combine software, robotics, and end-to-end manufacturing to make complex parts faster and at lower cost. The company is growing quickly, with a new Factory 3 facility in Mesa, Arizona, plans for future hiring, a naval production initiative, and a Factory-as-a-Service offering that delivers complete systems rather than standalone parts.
Role Overview
This entry-level full-stack engineering role is centered on building the software layer that supports Hadrian’s autonomous factory operations. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on production systems spanning customer-facing web products, internal tools, APIs, and data pipelines. The position is highly hands-on, and the work you ship will directly influence how the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance full-stack product features for internal tools, dashboards, and customer workflows using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Help build backend services, REST APIs, and data pipelines used by engineering, operations, and quality teams.
- Create user interfaces and components that provide live visibility into production flow, capacity, and program progress.
- Work with internal and external customers to help shape the product roadmap.
- Collaborate closely with full-stack engineers, AI engineers, operators, and manufacturing specialists.
- Produce clean, tested code and take part in peer code reviews.
- Identify technical risks and contribute to architecture-related discussions.
Requirements
- Recent graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Comfort with one or more technologies across the stack, such as TypeScript, React, Python, Go, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve unclear technical problems.
- Good written and spoken communication skills, plus strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent ambiguity.
- Willingness to work from the Los Angeles, CA office.
Nice to Have
- Previous internship or project work that involved shipping production software across both frontend and backend.
- Exposure to mechanical engineering, CAD, or manufacturing drawings.
- Experience with machine learning, dataset training, or computer vision.
- Interest in manufacturing systems, automation, or industrial software.
Compensation
The expected annual salary range for this role is USD 115,000 to USD 140,000. The final offer may differ based on experience and other factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, skills, location, performance, and business needs.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for employees.
- 401(k) plan.
- Relocation support may be available in certain cases, depending on business need.
- Flexible vacation policy.
ITAR Requirements
Because of U.S. Government export-control rules, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or otherwise eligible to receive the required authorization from the U.S. Department of State.
Equal Opportunity
The employer follows an equal opportunity policy and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics under applicable local, state, or federal law. Reasonable accommodations are available for candidates and employees with disabilities, including conditions related to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical issues.
Additional Information
The role is based in Los Angeles, California, and requires onsite attendance. Salary is offered on an annual basis. No internship duration is provided, and this is a full-time position.
