Job purposeThis role is focused on generating insurance business from the allocated team and orphan database through campaigns. The position also requires delivering complete pre-sales and post-sales support to customers and coordinating the same with the team. A key expectation is to not only meet targets, but to build steady quarter-on-quarter business growth.Role dimensionsThe position influences the following measurable areas:Direct manpower: 5 to 7 team membersIndirect manpower: Not applicableFirst year premium (FYP) target: Around Rs. 8 millionNOP target: 200 to 250Renewal collection on orphan base: 20 to 30 crores of AUMKey challengesBuilding a service-to-sales mindset for orphan customers.Using a differentiated and segmented approach across campaigns.Managing frontline attrition while working with a limited pool of strong talent.Principal accountabilitiesMaintain strong relationships with orphan customers and support the loyalty model.Identify opportunities to upsell through different campaigns.Drive renewal collection and protect AUM from the assigned base.Work toward premium and NOP targets that support overall business expansion.Distribute leads across team members based on agreed targets.Track and review performance regularly on topline and health metrics.Coach the team on selling steps, converting leads, and closing business.Promote and execute all organizational recognition and reward activities.Keep sales and service operations running smoothly so there are no interruptions in calls, policy issuance, or complaint resolution.Communicate process updates and rule changes through appropriate training support.Additional informationThis position requires active coordination of sales and service workflows, along with ongoing support for process adherence, customer servicing, and complaint management.
