Business Development Intern

About the internship

This in-office internship is focused on business development and sales support within a diversified investment business working across trade finance, real estate, and equity markets. The role involves interacting with prospects, local buyers, sellers, and suppliers while supporting day-to-day sales coordination and financing-related activities.

What you will do

• Reach out to prospects and existing clients by phone.
• Communicate with local buyers and sellers to support business conversations.
• Use online tools and email to manage outreach and follow-ups efficiently.
• Identify and source reliable, high-quality suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
• Work with the team on sales planning and execution.
• Coordinate supplier relationships to help ensure timely delivery and product quality.
• Assist with financing facilitation activities.

Schedule and working days

The internship follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule. Working hours are either 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship, be able to begin between 4 June 2026 and 9 July 2026, commit for 6 months, and be based in Mumbai. Candidates should also bring relevant skills and a genuine interest in the role.

Other requirements

• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Comfort using ChatGPT.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to read and speak Hindi.

Stipend

The internship offers a stipend of INR 6,000 per month.
