Role overview

Profound builds marketing software for the AI age, helping brands understand how they appear in AI-powered discovery tools and giving them the means to respond. The company works with a wide range of well-known brands and enterprise teams, and is backed by major venture investors at a $1B valuation. The team is distributed across New York City, San Francisco, Buenos Aires, and London, and moves quickly while shaping a new category in marketing.

In this position, you will be the company’s first dedicated Visual Designer, responsible for setting the visual language and creating high-quality design work that helps brands stand out in the generative internet.

What you will do

Design polished presentations, graphics, and other digital materials that communicate the company’s vision, product value, and capabilities with clarity and impact.
Deliver strong design output on tight deadlines, maintaining both speed and quality.
Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership to turn complex ideas into clear, visually compelling stories.
Use Google Slides and Figma comfortably to create assets for sales decks, marketing collateral, and product mockups.
Keep the overall look and feel consistent across customer-facing materials and help refine brand standards over time.

Compensation and location

The base salary for this role is expected to fall between $120,000 and $200,000 for New York, with compensation varying by location. The overall package is intended to be competitive and includes salary, equity, and a complete set of benefits and perks. Final pay will be determined during the hiring process based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
