Role overview

This role is centered on coordinating HMI deliverables as a product owner/scrum lead. The position focuses on organizing and ranking work for the scrum team, shaping release plans, and ensuring delivery stays aligned with program timelines and dependent domain releases. The role calls for close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, manage the backlog, and guide HMI work items from planning through execution.

What you will do

• Translate feature requests into the product roadmap.
• Maintain and prioritize the backlog so the team works on the highest-value items first.
• Create user stories and clearly define acceptance criteria.
• Set sprint objectives and plan releases and upgrades for HMI work items.
• Coordinate pre-integration testing with the intended delivery plan.
• Monitor work progress and resolve production issues during sprints.
• Review preferences and requests raised by the program product owner.
• Improve the agile process using outcomes and client feedback.
• Track industry trends, requirements, and capability needs relevant to the role.

Skills and experience needed

• Prior experience as a product owner or in a comparable product management role.
• Strong working knowledge of agile practices is essential.
• Practical exposure to managing the full product lifecycle.
• Technical understanding of software development and web technologies.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Good planning, coordination, and organizational ability.

Good to have

• Knowledge of model-based design.
• Experience in automotive infotainment development.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of automotive network management.
• Hands-on Android programming experience.
• Familiarity with CAN communication and related protocols.
• Knowledge of HMI architecture.

Qualifications

A BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field is required.
