General Utility Worker

Role Overview

Aramark Canada is looking for a reliable General Utility Worker in Toronto to help keep kitchen and service areas clean, safe, and running smoothly. Key Duties

• Support guest satisfaction by washing, sanitizing, and organizing dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dish area, three-compartment sink, and nearby spaces clean and orderly.
• Make sure equipment remains clean and operational, and escalate any problems to management.
• Carry out basic custodial duties and light maintenance work as needed.
• Maintain a courteous, helpful, and positive approach with guests, clients, coworkers, and others.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company safety practices.
• Protect company property and assets.

Requirements

The role calls for someone who understands basic sanitation practices, can work safely around hazardous cleaning chemicals, and is comfortable with flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends. The position may involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods. Uniforms and personal protective equipment may also be required.
