Role overviewAn urgent opening is available for a Background Verification Specialist in Delhi. The position is with Orbitouch HR for its OrbitVerify background verification product. This is an office-based role at the Tilak Nagar, New Delhi location, which is easily accessible from the Tilak Nagar metro station.Work schedule and locationThe job is based in Delhi, with on-site attendance required throughout the week. Working days are Monday through Saturday, with Sunday as the weekly off. The shift runs from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.CompensationThe offered salary is around 30,000 per month, subject to discussion during the interview.ResponsibilitiesCarry out employment verification checks using phone calls, emails, and third-party verification platforms.Coordinate with HR teams, reporting managers, or other organizations to confirm tenure, job title, compensation details, and exit reason.Examine and validate supporting documents such as offer letters, relieving letters, and payslips.Record verification results accurately and on time in internal tools and systems.Flag mismatches, risk indicators, or cases where responses are not received, following the applicable SOPs.Keep turnaround time strong while meeting quality expectations.Assist with audit-related work and help improve the overall process.RequirementsAt least 5 years of experience in employment background verification is required.Only experience gained in a background check company will be considered.Candidates should have handled multiple verification-related operational tasks.Strong communication and organizational ability is essential.The role calls for independent working capability as well as teamwork.Applicants must demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a problem-solving approach.A high standard of quality and compliance must be maintained at all times.Additional informationThe role is for operations specialists handling employee background verification and background checks.
