Job Overview
Integrated Facilities Management, a business unit within Abunayyan Holding, is hiring a Technical Proposal Writer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity within a growing Integrated Facilities Management organization that delivers dependable, innovative, and sustainable FM services across the Kingdom.
The role sits within the Business Development function and is suited to someone who combines proposal writing expertise with strong bid coordination and technical documentation skills. Experience from facilities management, construction, engineering, or professional services environments would be especially valuable.
Core Responsibilities
You will take ownership of the end-to-end preparation of technical and commercial submissions, ensuring bids, tenders, and prequalification packs are professionally written, accurate, and submitted on time. The role requires cross-functional coordination with business development, technical, commercial, and operations teams to keep each proposal aligned with client expectations and internal timelines.
Your work will include creating bid plans and schedules, reviewing tender documents for compliance, and developing tailored content such as executive summaries, methodologies, cover letters, and capability statements. You will also manage the review and approval workflow before submission.
In addition, you will be responsible for writing, refining, and standardizing proposal content so it is clear, persuasive, and technically sound. This includes formatting documents to match brand and client requirements, and translating complex technical details into client-friendly messaging.
A key part of the role is maintaining the company’s proposal content library. You will organize and update templates, project references, case studies, CVs, methodologies, organizational charts, and other supporting materials while keeping everything accurate and version-controlled.
The position also involves research and continuous improvement work, including studying clients, projects, competitors, and market opportunities, then using feedback from previous bids to improve proposal quality, efficiency, and win rates.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical proposal writing, bid management, or tender coordination is required. Background in Integrated Facilities Management, construction, engineering, building services, or professional services is preferred. Candidates should also have experience handling full bid lifecycles from opportunity identification through to submission. Prior tendering experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly desirable.
Required Knowledge and Tools
The role calls for strong capability in technical proposal writing, bid and tender management, technical documentation, method statement preparation, and prequalification (PQQ) documentation. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word is important, along with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel. Strong document formatting, editing, and proposal presentation development skills are also needed.
