Role Overview

The Solutions Consultant role is an advanced form of sales engineering, centered on helping customers understand their environment, shaping solution direction, and maximizing the value they receive from Palo Alto Networks. In this role, you will provide technical guidance for customer security transformation efforts and help define solutions that support key business priorities. You will also represent the company’s capabilities across on-premises, cloud, and security operations offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic technical account plans and contribute to meeting or exceeding sales targets through cross-platform solution selling.
  • Assess customer business needs and translate them into solution designs, demonstrations, and high-level architecture across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
  • Support customer adoption of the platform by improving productivity, operational efficiency, security effectiveness, and flexibility for innovation.
  • Run discovery discussions to uncover technical, operational, and commercial priorities for prospects and existing customers.
  • Partner with Professional Services, Customer Success, and specialist teams to support implementation and adoption.
  • Deliver clear presentations, demos, workshops, and technical discussions tailored to different audiences.
  • Lead validation activities and apply best practices to help secure technical wins in active opportunities.
  • Coordinate with specialists, channel resources, and support teams to execute a unified customer strategy.
  • Promote integrated solutions that may include Palo Alto Networks and partner professional services so customers see value sooner.
  • Track the competitive landscape and position the company’s cybersecurity strengths effectively.
  • Keep building your technical and professional capability through learning, community participation, and industry events.
  • Identify technical stakeholders and develop relationships that support a security architecture transformation roadmap.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering.
  • Working knowledge of at least one area such as networking, network security, cybersecurity, private or public cloud security, SOC/endpoint, or SASE.
  • Background in delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical problems and support new business initiatives.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and secure buy-in in customer-facing or internal settings.
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical decks, workshops, or validation sessions.
  • Exposure to selling, designing, implementing, or managing technologies such as network security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC transformation solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with customer support teams to drive successful implementation and adoption.
  • Comfort working in complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and multi-product opportunities.
  • Field sales experience with willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings when required.
  • Strong command of English and Arabic.
