About the Role
This position is for an experienced software engineer who wants to help improve AI systems through coding-focused tasks. You’ll join a large global community of technical professionals working on practical AI training work, with an emphasis on real-world software development challenges. The role combines flexibility with complexity, and lets you contribute directly to the quality of intelligent systems that continue to learn and improve.
The work can suit someone who wants to do this alongside another job, as well as someone looking to make it their main focus. You’ll choose projects that match your availability and interests.
How the Process Works
After creating an account, you’ll complete a short assessment that functions as the screening step. If you pass, you’ll get a confirmation by email and paid tasks will then be available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Create and solve a wide range of coding tasks used to train AI, with stronger focus on Android-related development.
- Produce well-structured code examples along with clear explanatory notes.
- Review AI-written code for correctness, speed, and readability.
- Share feedback that helps improve future AI model performance.
Compensation and Engagement
Work is paid on an hourly basis, starting at $50 to $100+ per hour, with some assignments offering higher rates. Payment is processed through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD will be handled by PayPal. This is an independent contractor arrangement.
Eligibility and Availability
This opportunity is open only to candidates based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Applicants outside these countries will not be able to access assessments or work at this time.
Additional Information
You are expected to use your own computer and manage your schedule independently. The company states that it will never request money from applicants.
Qualifications
Applicants should have native or bilingual English fluency, strong writing and grammar skills, and a bachelor’s degree that is either completed or still in progress. Prior work as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is considered an advantage. Experience with Kotlin is preferred, and candidates should also be proficient in at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
