The opportunity
Enterprise Technology Services is seeking a Scrum Master to support cross-functional squads in delivering strong product and customer outcomes through disciplined Agile and Lean practices. The role partners closely with Product Owners, engineers and business stakeholders to build an environment focused on collaboration, accountability and ongoing improvement.
What you will do
- Lead core Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Guide delivery execution, align expectations and work with engineers to keep work moving forward.
- Coach teams and Product Owners on Scrum principles, Agile ways of working and effective backlog management.
- Use metrics, team insights and root-cause analysis to identify and drive improvement opportunities.
- Remove blockers and shield squads from interruptions that could affect delivery results.
- Encourage openness, teamwork and shared ownership across squads and stakeholders.
- Assist with release coordination and incident management when needed.
- Take part in the Scrum Master community of practice and help strengthen Agile capability across Cuscal.
What you bring
Success in this role requires experience leading delivery in complex technology settings and a genuine interest in helping teams perform at their best. You should be confident coaching others, managing delivery dependencies and using evidence to improve outcomes.
- Proven background in applying Scrum to improve team delivery and ways of working.
- Practical experience handling delivery management, dependencies, risks and issues.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams in Agile principles and practices.
- Strong capability in backlog management and sprint planning.
- Comfort using delivery metrics and insights to spot improvement areas.
- Skill in facilitating problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Experience working across several Scrum teams in a multi-product environment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
Preferred experience
- Background in financial services, payments or other heavily regulated environments.
- Good understanding of flow metrics and Agile delivery reporting.
- Experience supporting release and incident management activities.
- Advanced knowledge of Agile scaling approaches and enterprise delivery environments.
