About Tandem Health

Tandem Health is building a new kind of healthcare platform that keeps clinicians at the center. Created with direct input from healthcare professionals, the product is designed to reduce administrative friction through intuitive medical notes and workflows that support better patient care.

The company is growing quickly as a health-tech business with strong investor backing and an international outlook. It values speed, curiosity, and purpose-driven work, and is looking for people who want to help build meaningful products with real-world impact.

Role Overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you will generate new business opportunities by finding, contacting, and qualifying prospective customers across the DACH market. You will be the first commercial contact for healthcare providers and will play an important part in strengthening the sales pipeline.

You will partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Leadership to arrange qualified meetings, learn about customer pain points, and support growth in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to build a career in SaaS and healthcare technology sales, with room to progress into Account Executive, Business Development, or Sales Leadership paths as the company expands.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and reach out to prospective customers through outbound activities such as cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted account research.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of healthcare providers, clinics, medical practices, and other healthcare organizations in your territory.
  • Assess prospects by learning about their workflows, operational pain points, and current administrative setup.
  • Book discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, ensuring clean pipeline management and activity tracking.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to improve messaging, outreach execution, and territory planning.
  • Collect market insights and customer feedback to support go-to-market improvements.
  • Act as the professional first point of contact for potential customers.

What Success Looks Like

  • Regularly creating qualified opportunities for the commercial team.
  • Establishing a healthy pipeline within the assigned territory.
  • Meeting outbound activity and meeting-booking goals.
  • Making a strong first impression that reflects Tandem’s mission and values.
  • Building a solid understanding of the healthcare market and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Some prior experience in sales, business development, customer success, recruitment, hospitality, healthcare, or another client-facing role.
  • Comfortable communicating with decision-makers by phone, email, and video meetings.
  • Strong persistence, curiosity, and self-driven motivation.
  • Organized approach to outreach, follow-ups, and activity management.
  • Interest in healthcare, digital health, SaaS, or technology-led innovation.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • Native-level German and professional English skills.

Bonus Experience

  • Background in outbound sales, lead generation, cold calling, or appointment setting.
  • Experience working with healthcare providers, medical practices, clinics, or healthcare software.
  • Exposure to CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Previous work in SaaS, digital health, medtech, or startup settings.
  • Experience in a high-growth company with ambitious commercial goals.

Location and Work Style

The position is based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, but the company offers remote flexibility with occasional travel to the Munich office. In-person collaboration is valued, while remote working is also supported.

Career Growth

As the company expands across Europe, strong-performing SDRs may take on broader responsibilities and grow their careers alongside the business.

Application Process

Applicants are asked to submit a CV in English. The hiring process is ongoing and includes four steps: a screening interview with Talent Acquisition, a first interview with a Sales team member, a second interview with the Country Director for Germany, and a working day in the Munich office to experience the team and working style.

Culture

Tandem describes its environment as fast-moving, ambitious, and ownership-driven. The team is diverse, high-performing, and united by a goal of improving the future of healthcare. People are trusted to take initiative, learn quickly, and contribute from day one.

Although the team works across different countries, it comes together regularly in Sweden for team meetings, social activities, and offsites. The company says it hires for talent, potential, and attitude, and values different backgrounds and fresh ideas.

Additional Information

Because Tandem works with sensitive patient information, a background check will be completed before any final hiring decision.
