QA Analyst

Role overview

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a meticulous and driven Quality Assurance Analyst to strengthen its expanding team. The position calls for someone who understands QA practices well and has tested both mobile apps and websites. A major focus of the role is helping the team move from mainly manual testing toward a more scalable, automation-led quality assurance approach. The successful candidate will help ensure products are dependable, user-friendly, and built to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Build, update, and run both automated and manual test cases for web and mobile products, with a strong emphasis on expanding automation coverage.
• Support and improve automation frameworks, scripts, and reusable test components.
• Carry out functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing across release cycles.
• Connect automated tests to CI/CD workflows to enable continuous testing.
• Detect, record, rank, and monitor defects until they are resolved using defect-tracking tools.
• Develop thorough and inventive test scenarios to reveal functional, integration, and boundary-condition issues.
• Prepare clear test documentation, status reports, and automation output summaries.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to help deliver quality releases on time.
• Investigate test-related and production issues and coordinate with the application development team to fix technical problems.
• Look for ways to improve QA processes, automation methods, and overall testing efficiency.
• Follow SDLC standards, internal governance processes, and regulatory obligations, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Practical experience creating automation for web and/or mobile applications.
• Experience writing and running automated test cases with scripting languages or automation frameworks.
• Strong grasp of QA methods, test design approaches, and testing best practices.
• Experience with defect tracking, test management, and version control tools.
• Strong analytical ability, troubleshooting capability, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented approach with attention to usability and product quality.
• Good written and verbal communication, along with solid documentation skills.
• Hands-on exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar alternatives.
• Experience with LambdaTest or comparable device and cloud testing platforms.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar systems.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices.
• Basic API testing knowledge, such as using Postman, will be considered an advantage.
