Role overview
This position is for a very experienced program leader to oversee large, complex initiatives from planning through execution. The role is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and the posted job title is Salesforce Project Manager. The successful candidate will bring 15+ years of program management experience and will be expected to guide delivery across multiple teams while keeping work aligned to business objectives.
What you will do
- Shape strategy and drive delivery for major programs so that outcomes stay aligned with organizational priorities.
- Build detailed project plans, timelines, and staffing/resource plans to support efficient execution.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify scope, goals, and expected deliverables.
- Track program health, spot risks early, and put mitigation actions in place to protect delivery.
- Continuously improve the way program management is run, including methods and operating practices.
- Coordinate communication across several project teams and external partners to keep work moving smoothly.
- Provide expert direction on governance, compliance, and quality expectations.
- Coach and mentor project managers and team members to strengthen capability and professional development.
- Serve as the main contact for program stakeholders, managing communication and expectations.
- Handle planning work such as scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Create contingency plans after assessing risks and likely project issues.
- Make sure milestones are delivered on time and quality standards are met.
- Partner with vendors, clients, and internal teams to solve problems and remove blockers.
- Support change management efforts and help teams adopt new processes.
- Prepare and share regular progress updates with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Promote a team culture built on accountability and ownership.
