Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Poll Worker supporting election-day operations at a respected organization in Pinellas, Florida. The position is aimed at someone who values accuracy, professionalism, and public service.

Compensation and Schedule

The pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Standard hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and overtime is mandatory. During busy voting periods, the workday can extend to 10 to 12 hours.

Key Duties

• Receive voted absentee ballots from voters and check that each ballot envelope is correctly dated and signed.
• Place ballots into secured, locked containers and keep clear records of every ballot collected.
• Follow strict chain-of-custody procedures throughout the entire process.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be willing and able to work overtime, and be able to drive to and from the polling location assigned to them.
