Role overview
This permanent planning role is based at Sizewell B in Suffolk, with flexible working arrangements available across site-based, hybrid, and remote formats. The position is offered with a salary of up to £66,000 per annum and is available for an immediate start. The working pattern can be up to 40 hours each week.
What the role involves
You will be expected to deliver outputs within the planning discipline while also working with leads from other related disciplines so that all outputs remain connected and consistent. The role requires independent working, with support and direction provided by a Project Controls Manager when needed. You will also guide, coach, and assist junior planners in developing supporting deliverables.
Experience and technical background
The role calls for around 5 years of planning experience, ideally gained on large and complex projects. You should understand the planning process well and be able to create strong planning and scheduling inputs by questioning information, challenging assumptions, and checking data quality.
Key technical areas include master schedules and schedule reporting, earned value management reporting, resource analysis, and quantitative schedule risk analysis (QSRA) models and reports.
Security and employment details
A UK National Security Vetting status of BPSS is required for this position. The role is advertised as permanent, although a contract option is also available.
