Overview
LT Distribution Europe is looking for a seasoned and energetic Learning & Development Manager to support its operations in the United Arab Emirates. This role is focused on building a strong learning culture, strengthening employee capabilities, and partnering with business leaders to improve performance across the organization.
Role Summary
The position is full-time and based on-site in the United Arab Emirates, with hybrid working also mentioned as an option. The successful candidate will take ownership of learning strategy, training delivery, leadership development, and related talent initiatives that support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and roll out learning and development plans that align with company goals.
- Assess training requirements and pinpoint skill gaps across teams and functions.
- Build, organize, and facilitate leadership programs as well as employee training sessions.
- Handle onboarding programs, succession planning, and career development activities.
- Administer learning management systems and other digital learning tools.
- Measure training outcomes and track return on investment using KPIs and performance data.
- Work closely with department heads to improve workforce capability.
- Promote ongoing learning and continuous professional development throughout the business.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or another relevant discipline.
- Hands-on experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Training, or HR positions.
- Good understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Background in managing training initiatives, workshops, and e-learning solutions.
- Strong verbal communication, presentation, coaching, and facilitation abilities.
- Solid project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional credentials such as CIPD, SHRM, ATD, or similar qualifications are an advantage.
