Role Overview
This internship is based in Tuas, Singapore, and offers practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing. The intern will support teams such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Development Services, and Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) in their everyday work.
What You Will Learn and Do
- Build an understanding of fill-and-finish processes used in pharmaceutical production.
- Work in line with cGMP requirements and follow all safety rules consistently.
- Assist with creating and updating standard operating procedures for related activities, aligned with company policies.
- Work with colleagues to spot, assess, and resolve process issues.
- Receive close guidance on routine tasks and step-by-step support when handling new assignments.
- Help organize work and maintain documentation accurately.
- Learn process flow within a cGMP-based manufacturing setting through coaching and supervision.
- Develop problem-solving and decision-making abilities with appropriate support.
Candidate Profile
- You should currently be studying biomedical science, pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, chemical engineering, or another related discipline.
- You need strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are important.
- You should be comfortable working on your own as well as collaborating with a team.
- You should know how to use Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- A genuine interest in learning new things is expected.
