About Builders

Builders is a civic movement created to support flexible thinkers and practical problem-solvers who want to counter extremism and strengthen pluralistic democracy. The organization believes societies do best when leaders are accountable to their communities, free expression is protected, the rule of law is applied fairly, and majority rule is balanced with the rights and dignity of every person.

At a time when polarization has slowed government action and reduced public trust, Builders is focused on Texas as a key place to advance solutions and bridge divides.

What Builders Does

  • Builders Media: Produces content that challenges divisive narratives and encourages adaptability and problem-solving.
  • Civic Activation Programming: Works to inform voters, increase turnout in elections, and bring people across political differences together to develop policy ideas that reflect real community needs.
  • Education and Toolkits: Creates resources that help people address difficult issues in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
  • Relationship Building: Supports a growing network of more than 4 million citizens and over 320 prominent leaders.

Builders aims to help restore a government focused on practical outcomes and public service. The organization’s work has been featured in major media outlets and public conversations across the country.
