Ather Energy is hiring a Digital Media Manager for its Marketing team in Bengaluru. The position reports to the Digital Media Lead and is based at IBC Knowledge Park. The team works to accelerate India’s electric vehicle shift by building brand and media capabilities from the ground up, with a focus on creating strong business outcomes through both owned and paid channels.

In this role, you will build integrated media plans, steer performance marketing initiatives, and work closely with partner agencies and internal stakeholders to expand the impact of digital media investments.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive stronger business results through a mix of owned and paid media channels.
  • Partner with agency teams to create integrated media strategies, with a primary focus on digital platforms.
  • Manage performance marketing across e-commerce, affiliate, and other lead-generation channels.
  • Make sure campaigns go live on time and meet the planned delivery targets.
  • Study campaign outcomes and turn performance data into practical insights that improve future impact.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to grow the contribution of paid and owned media to the business.

Experience and qualification requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing or Media is required.
  • 8 to 10 years of media planning experience, ideally with flagship brand portfolios at a network media agency.
  • Strong experience managing digital media budgets of more than 30 Cr.
  • Prior work on automotive or premium technology brands is mandatory.

Must-have capabilities

  • Strong command of full-funnel campaign planning, buying, and execution across biddable media, affiliates, and direct publishers.
  • Advanced Excel-based data handling and analysis skills for evaluating campaign performance.
  • Practical expertise in audience and media planning tools such as GWI, TGI, Comscore, BARC, Google Ads, and Meta Ads.
  • Solid technical understanding of digital measurement, tracking, ad servers, Google Analytics, and app analytics.

Preferred capabilities

  • Working knowledge of SEO and Google My Business best practices for improving organic discoverability.
  • Exposure to offline media planning concepts to support integrated marketing decisions.
  • Experience with newer brands and fast-growing market categories.
  • Ability to manage, coach, and lead a small team of direct reports.
