The position operates from WWG1 in Pasco, Washington, and the service area covers the Columbia Basin in Eastern Washington, including the Tri-Cities, Walla Walla, and Pendleton.

Compensation

• Starting pay is $23.00 per hour.
• Weekly earnings can reach up to $1,120.50, combining base pay, overtime opportunities, and bonuses.
• Performance reviews may lead to pay progression based on pace, attendance, quality, and safety.
• After 90 days, pay may increase from $23.00 to $23.50 per hour.
• After 6 months, pay may increase up to $24.00 per hour.
• After 12 months, pay may increase up to $24.50 per hour.

Schedule and Work Pattern

• Start time is 11:00 AM.
• Shifts typically last 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Work is available 7 days a week.
• The standard full-time week is 4 days on and 3 days off.
• Weekend availability is preferred.

Role Overview

As a Delivery Associate, you will operate an Amazon-branded vehicle and complete package deliveries across assigned neighborhoods. The role involves handling 150 to 300 packages each day while maintaining a friendly, professional approach with customers and members of the public.

Key Duties

• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and responsibly at all times.
• Use a handheld device to access route details and customer delivery information.
• Work comfortably in changing weather conditions.
• Load and unload parcels for delivery.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is mandatory.
• Applicants must agree to a 4-panel drug screen that does not include THC.
• The role requires confidence in driving a large cargo delivery van.
• Candidates must be physically able to lift and deliver packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

Provided Equipment and Support

• An Amazon-branded non-CDL delivery vehicle is supplied.
• Gas and insurance for the delivery vehicle are covered.
• A mobile delivery device is provided.
• Uniforms are supplied.
• Safety shoes are provided after driver training is completed.
• Snacks and beverages are available.
