Construction Manager

Job Summary

This role is responsible for running the daily site activity for major roads and infrastructure works, including coordination of engineering teams, labor force, and heavy plant. The position reports to the Project Manager and focuses on smooth execution across large-scale civil works.

Core Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day execution on site for road corridors, earthworks, bridges, tunnels, and both wet and dry deep utility systems.
• Plan and control the use of machinery, materials, and a diverse workforce to keep operations efficient.
• Lead site engineers, foremen, and specialist subcontractors to maintain productivity and discipline on the project.
• Break down master program timelines into workable daily and weekly targets, remove site-level delays, and make sure completed work is accepted during QA/QC and consultant checks.
• Monitor and enforce HSE standards in line with UAE safety requirements and project-specific compliance rules.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Applicants should have 10 to 15 years of experience in civil construction, including at least 4 years serving as a Construction Manager on major projects.
• Prior delivery experience in UAE infrastructure projects is expected; experience in the Northern Emirates is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of heavy earthmoving, asphalt paving, concrete structures, and deep trenching is needed.
• A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.

This position is for large roads and infrastructure projects in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role involves coordination with multinational labor teams and multiple site stakeholders.
