About the role
A leading financial services and insurance group operating across Mauritius, Seychelles, and East Africa is seeking a customer-focused Claims Handler to join its team in Victoria, Seychelles. The organization is known for its work in insurance and digital innovation, and this position plays an important part in delivering a smooth and efficient claims experience.
What you'll do
- Check and process claims within the required timeframes.
- Support clients as they move through the claims settlement journey.
- Keep consistent communication with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Track each claim from initial registration through to final settlement.
- Coordinate with surveyors, garages, insurers, spare parts suppliers, and other service providers.
- Make sure payments are handled promptly and customer service standards remain high.
- Apply insurance policy wording and legal obligations accurately when managing claims.
Requirements
- A-Level / Higher School Certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in claims handling.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and French.
- A proactive, customer-oriented, and energetic approach.
- Comfort working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
