Role and team
The India business is organized into three major verticals, each containing multiple core categories with its own dedicated user offering and supply base, all managed by a business head.
- Beauty vertical: salon services for women, including skincare, hair, nails, and make-up; men’s grooming; spa therapy for men and women; and treatment services.
- Home vertical: AC and appliance repair; cleaning and pest control; electricians, plumbers, and carpenters; and painting.
- Products business: primarily B2B sales, covering beauty and spa products in OEM and private-label formats, water purifiers, RO filters, home solutions products, and cleaning products.
The category manager is responsible for bringing in the right supply partners so that customer needs are met consistently and the expected service experience is delivered.
Key mandate
- Recruit and onboard high-quality supply to ensure customer demand is fulfilled with a strong experience.
- Prevent disruptions in city operations by building and retaining reliable category supply.
- Drive growth and quality-improvement initiatives together with central category leadership.
- Strengthen partner experience to create long-term supply stability.
What you will do
- Build strong working relationships with service professionals in the city.
- Run onboarding, service-quality, and operational SOPs with discipline.
- Identify root causes behind customer-experience and partner-onboarding issues and solve them in a structured way.
- Use communication and analytical judgment to bring the right partners onto the platform.
Requirements
- Must be highly driven, quality-focused, and consistent in performance.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is compulsory.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, execution-heavy environment with strong outcome orientation.
- Strong reasoning ability and communication skills are essential.
- Should be proactive and focused on results.
