Video Editing Intern

About the internship

This part-time remote internship is for a video editor who will work closely with Raja Mukherjee, a well-known host and performer with more than 750 shows delivered in over 25 countries. The work centers on shaping short-form and brand-focused video content, especially Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, travel videos, event highlights, TRM-related pieces, and personal branding material.

What you will work on

• Edit short-form videos tailored for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Build polished, engaging cuts using subtitles, B-roll, transitions, sound effects, background music, and strong pacing.
• Handle raw phone videos, event footage, voiceovers, and talking-head recordings.
• Work with editing and design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, and AI-based tools when useful.
• Find suitable B-roll, reference clips, sound effects, and other visual elements independently.
• Deliver a set of well-edited reels each week, depending on quality expectations and workload.
• Stay in sync through WhatsApp and Google Drive, and respect agreed timelines.
• Export and share finished files in the required format.

Additional information

Other requirements

• Previous experience editing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar creator content is preferred.
• You should be able to independently gather B-roll, sound effects, captions, and visual references.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Kling, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
