About the Role
Basil Leaf Creative, a boutique branding and communications agency founded in 2006, is seeking a full-time Graphic Design intern based in Mumbai. This internship will provide hands-on experience with branding and corporate communication design projects, working closely with experienced designers to create impactful visuals that elevate brand presence across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create original graphic content for both print and digital media, including social media posts, brochures, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Support branding initiatives and visual identity development to maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Edit videos and develop motion graphics as needed to enhance multimedia projects.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Manage multiple assignments, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality and brand standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a B.Des., BFA, Visual Communication, or related design discipline.
- Open to applicants with 0 to 2 years of graphic design experience.
- Proficient in using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or equivalent tools.
- Basic skills in video editing and motion graphics are advantageous.
- Possesses sharp creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and strong visual storytelling capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- A well-developed portfolio showcasing academic, freelance, or professional design work.
