About Us
Speedy Freight is a premier national logistics provider specializing in urgent, same-day deliveries throughout the UK and Europe. As a key player in the UK's supply chain, we deliver customized transport solutions emphasizing reliability, speed, and professionalism. We are expanding our team of Van Drivers due to a significant new national contract.
This is a permanent, full-time position where you will operate a Speedy Freight van, primarily serving a dedicated client. You will contribute to delivering outstanding, specialized service across the UK. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday mornings depending on client needs.
We are seeking diligent and driven individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently collect and deliver goods across the nation.
- Manage and transport time-sensitive shipments for commercial clients.
- Responsibly load and unload cargo.
- Uphold the professional image of Speedy Freight in all interactions.
- Maintain precise records and adhere to all company protocols.
Skills & Experience
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid full UK/EU driving license held for a minimum of 2 years.
- No endorsements for drink or drug driving.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving license.
- Demonstrate reliability, patience, and a strong work ethic.
- Exhibit enthusiasm for driving and providing excellent customer service.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends as required.
Additional Information
Van, uniform, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be supplied.
