Role overview

This position supports the smooth running of facilities operations, with a focus on customer service, technical upkeep, and coordination of vendor activities. Stronger candidates may be reviewed for a supervisory position.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operational duties, including responding to customer questions, service needs, and complaints.
• Carry out preventive maintenance as well as fault-finding and repair support for mechanical and electrical systems, ACMV installations, chillers, and electrical controls.
• Manage and oversee contractors’ and vendors’ work, including related records and documentation.

Requirements

• Applicants should hold a recognized technical qualification in Mechanical & Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Technology ACMV, or an equivalent field. Candidates with deeper experience may be considered for a supervisory appointment.
• Practical knowledge of chillers, ACMV equipment, switchboards, generators, and exposure to BMS and BAS is required.
• A positive attitude along with strong interpersonal and customer-focused communication skills is important.
• Shift-based working arrangements may apply.
• Candidates with WSQ certifications are encouraged to submit an application.
• Applicants without direct experience, but who are interested in building a career in Facilities Management and/or ACMV, may be eligible for a company-sponsored ITE traineeship under the Facility Technology (Mechanical & Electrical Services) programme.
