System Administrator

Role overview

Red Alpha Cybersecurity is seeking a System Administrator to support day-to-day system operations in Singapore. This role focuses on maintaining stable, secure, and well-managed IT and cybersecurity environments.

Operational responsibilities

• Manage core system administration tasks, including asset and configuration control, change handling, account administration, backup oversight, capacity tracking, vulnerability management, and routine health checks.

Technical scope

• Bring solid system administration capability across cybersecurity solutions in at least one of these areas: infrastructure security, endpoint security, data security, security governance, security analytics or SOC operations, and access and identity management.

Experience requirements

• Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in IT or cybersecurity operations, managed services, and/or system administration.
• Experience with public sector environments, large local enterprises, local CII, or global enterprises will be considered an advantage.

Certification requirements

• Hold at least one intermediate-level certification from a security vendor, or an ITIL Foundation/basic cybersecurity certification such as ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity or CompTIA Security+.
• Advanced-level certifications from security vendors will be viewed favorably.

Compensation

Pay will be aligned with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
