Storekeeper

Role Overview

ZMI Holdings is seeking an immediate hire for a dependable Storekeeper who pays close attention to detail and brings solid hands-on experience in inventory control and warehouse activities. Experience from the marine sector or oil and gas environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept deliveries, check them carefully against purchase orders and delivery paperwork, and flag any damage, shortages, or mismatches.
• Unload materials, arrange them neatly, apply labels, and place them in their assigned storage locations using correct handling practices.
• Keep inventory information accurate and current in both manual records and digital systems.
• Release and send materials to operational teams in a controlled and timely manner.
• Carry out routine stock audits and reconciliation activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documents such as stock ledgers, delivery records, and related reports.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safety-compliant warehouse at all times.
• Use material handling equipment safely and ensure lifting tools and related gear are used properly.
• Follow Permit to Work procedures and stay alert to all associated requirements.
• Observe ADNOC Life Saving Rules and keep a strong focus on health, safety, and environment practices throughout daily work.
• Contribute to process improvements that increase warehouse efficiency and overall workflow.
• Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and the supervisor to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• Between 5 and 6 years of verified experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory control, preferably in marine, offshore, or oil and gas settings.
• Working familiarity with inventory systems and ERP tools, including basic MS Excel usage.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety standards, material handling methods, and lifting operations.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work systems and HSE practices will be an advantage.
• Strong skills in organization, communication, and time management.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and remain physically fit for the job.
• Relevant certifications such as forklift operation, inventory handling, or HSE training are preferred.

Additional Information

This position is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates and is offered on a full-time, onsite basis. The role is urgent and is intended for a candidate with practical warehouse experience and a safety-first mindset. Experience in marine or oil and gas operations is considered highly desirable.
