Shift Manager

Role overview

Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants is looking for a Shift Manager in Gainesville, FL to support the General Manager and help run successful shifts. In this role, you will help drive sales and profitability, follow operating standards, and deliver strong guest and team service so the restaurant remains a top choice for both guests and employees.

What you will do

• Contribute to sales and profit growth by improving guest satisfaction and keeping restaurant operations on track.
• Bring concerns, risks, or suggestions related to the restaurant, employees, or guests to the General Manager’s attention.
• Make sure company policies and procedures are consistently followed during shifts.
• Train team members on operating standards, company policies, and guest service expectations.
• Spot complaints or policy violations and respond appropriately.
• Help maintain a restaurant environment that is safe, clean, and enjoyable for both employees and guests.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years of restaurant management experience, with a preference for Quick Service Restaurant experience. You should be comfortable with basic math, able to work a flexible schedule with extended hours, and bring the energy needed for a fast-moving environment.
