Role overview
This position is for an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on IT Service Management solutions. The role involves building, tailoring, and supporting applications on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong emphasis on ITSM capabilities and proven development practices.
Key responsibilities
- Build, configure, and adapt ServiceNow ITSM applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.
- Develop and maintain core platform components including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
- Design and implement workflows and Flow Designer automations.
- Connect ServiceNow to external systems through REST and SOAP integrations.
- Handle platform upgrades, patches, and continuous application improvements.
- Investigate defects, resolve issues, and support production environments.
- Follow ServiceNow development standards and coding guidelines.
- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
