Robot Framework, Python Test Automation Analyst

Role Overview

This position is for a test automation professional with strong hands-on experience in Python and Robot Framework, working on QA and automation initiatives for large-scale programs. The role is based across multiple Indian locations, including Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Indore, and Kolkata.

Core Technical Focus

The assignment centers on Python-based automation testing, Robot Framework, SQL, ETL and database validation, and Linux/Unix environments. Familiarity with TestNG, Spark, Pandas, Stonebranch, mainframe QE, and the overall testing process is also relevant.

Primary Responsibilities

You will help drive automation and QA delivery across multiple teams and projects, support senior QA members, and contribute to test planning, defect management, and end-to-end testing coordination. The role also calls for strong understanding of SDLC, QA practices, and testing methodologies.

Additional Experience Preferences

Prior exposure to regulatory reporting is considered useful. Experience with Perl and data analytics is also mentioned as an advantage.

Key Activities

Expected work includes preparing functional testing status updates for products, maintaining a shared repository for external defect logging, facilitating defect triage meetings, coordinating with program managers and business analysts to understand testing needs, and identifying gaps in QA coverage during end-to-end testing.
