Project Manager - Qatarization

About the Role

This opportunity is for a capable PMO Manager to join the Transformation Office and help steer major strategic programs across the organization. The position is focused on strong governance, alignment with national priorities, and reliable delivery of transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Head the Project Management Office within the Transformation Office and ensure it operates effectively.
• Set up and maintain project governance rules, standards, and delivery methods.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of transformation programs and strategic initiatives.
• Track portfolio performance, including budgets, schedules, risks, and KPI progress.
• Prepare and present unified reports for senior leaders and relevant stakeholders.
• Handle capacity planning and work prioritization across multiple projects.
• Improve tools, systems, and approaches used for project delivery on an ongoing basis.
• Coach and support project managers to maintain consistent, high-quality execution.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a similar discipline is required; a master’s degree is an added advantage.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, with 3 to 5 years spent in a PMO or Transformation Office environment.
• Solid understanding of PMO governance, portfolio oversight, and delivery frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or an equivalent qualification are preferred.
• Background in large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong capabilities in stakeholder handling, communication, and leadership.
• Only Qatari nationals may be considered for this position.
