About the Role
This position focuses on making sure employee pay is processed correctly and on time, payroll records stay accurate, payroll information is analyzed properly, and payroll-related issues are handled effectively. It also helps ensure payroll activities align with company policies while giving employees clear support and information about their pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Run monthly payroll, covering salaries, commissions, bonuses, and any other employee entitlements.
- Check employee payroll information and keep records up to date and accurate.
- Track paid and unpaid leave as well as absences, and make sure they are reflected correctly in payroll calculations.
- Examine payroll transactions and payment details carefully before payroll is finalized.
- Handle employee questions about pay, deductions, incentives, and other payroll matters.
- Look into payroll errors and discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Generate payroll reports and review payroll costs to support budgeting and financial planning.
General Responsibilities
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior team members when needed.
- Work in line with departmental procedures, policies, and company standards.
- Help improve payroll processes and efficiency through continuous improvement efforts.
- Prepare accurate reports that meet company expectations and quality requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration, payroll analysis, or a similar position.
