Role overview

JnS Education is seeking an Operations Manager in Dubai to oversee student-facing operations, team performance, and service delivery for international education counseling and admissions support.

Key duties

• Keep student records accurate, complete, and up to date, including evaluations, outcome analysis, and meaningful feedback.
• Track performance against KPI targets and make adjustments where needed to improve results.
• Report to management on the sale of education services to prospective students.
• Accept task assignments from the line manager and submit monthly student conversion figures.
• Assess staff performance and support effective team management.
• Help maintain a workplace that is safe and secure.
• Respond to student questions and resolve complaints professionally.
• Generate leads and assign them to appropriate team members.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students through school visits and social media outreach.
• Advise students on Foundation, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate opportunities across the UK, USA, Canada, Malaysia, and Australia.
• Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions to support academic and career planning.
• Guide students in choosing suitable universities and programs.
• Work effectively under sales targets and communicate confidently with students.
• Support applicants with university and college admission procedures.
• Handle inquiries from prospective students and convert them into education service sales.

You are expected to carry out all reasonable instructions from the employer, management, or your designated supervisor. The role also requires you to perform assigned duties faithfully, diligently, and competently, follow the company code of conduct and policies, and act in the employer’s best interests at all times. Outside employment or other business activities are not permitted without prior approval from the employer.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants should hold a graduation or post-graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute. The role requires 4 to 5 years of experience as a Senior Education Counsellor or Branch Manager. Strong knowledge of international education systems, especially Cambridge and American curricula, is needed. Familiarity with preparing students for credibility interviews and reviewing SOPs is important. Updated knowledge of student visa processes for the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia is required, and understanding of international pathway providers will be an advantage. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively is also expected.

Skills required

Strong English communication, Arabic fluency, personal computing proficiency, experience in study abroad education and training, and good time management are essential for success in this role.
