Role Overview
The Care Services is hiring a proactive and detail-focused Operations Management Trainee to help run and improve its multi-outlet laundry business across Singapore. In this position, you will gain practical exposure to outlet performance tracking, service delivery standards, procurement, and supply chain coordination. You will partner closely with headquarters and outlet leaders to keep daily operations efficient, consistent, and continuously improving.
Operational Support and Oversight
- Assist with the day-to-day running of several outlets.
- Track operational results and help roll out improvement actions.
- Make sure company SOPs, quality requirements, and operating guidelines are followed.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with Finance, HR, Marketing, and other teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Serve as the link between headquarters and outlet managers so priorities stay aligned.
Service and Performance Excellence
- Support efforts to maintain strong service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Help outlet managers meet key operating KPIs.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes for better productivity and efficiency.
Procurement and Inventory Management
- Support headquarters in sourcing raw materials and day-to-day operating supplies.
- Help coordinate storage, stock management, and replenishment planning.
- Keep an eye on inventory levels to support cost control and operational readiness.
Projects and Business Initiatives
- Contribute to new outlet launches and operational improvement projects.
- Take on additional ad-hoc tasks as part of management development exposure.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the laundry sector will be considered an advantage.
- Well-organized, thorough, and able to juggle several priorities at once.
- A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to speak both English and Mandarin is an advantage.
