Overview
ASIA Prime General Contracting Co. L.L.C. is looking for an Abu Dhabi-based MEP Coordinator to support the delivery of MEP projects and coordinate day-to-day technical and site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee MEP project execution, build schedules, and align work with all relevant stakeholders.
- Keep project records organized and share status updates with the wider project team.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of all contract documents and related requirements.
- Direct MEP subcontractors from contract award through final close-out.
- Check shop drawings and submittals to confirm they are complete and compliant.
- Examine subcontractor payment requests and make sure they are accurate and submitted on time.
- Coordinate MEP work on site, including materials planning and procurement, together with the Project Manager and field team.
- Prepare progress updates and other reports as required.
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Applicants should bring 15 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, along with AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of MEP codes and standards is essential.
