About the internship
This remote, part-time internship is designed to help candidates build a practical foundation in medical coding while working under mentor guidance. Interns will get exposure to healthcare documentation, coding standards, and hands-on assignments that strengthen real-world understanding.
What you will do
- Study medical coding rules and processes with support from a mentor.
- Go through sample medical records and pick out the appropriate diagnostic and procedure codes.
- Support the accurate coding of healthcare-related documents.
- Take part in live case studies and practical exercises.
- Join training sessions, workshops, and evaluation activities.
- Work on project-based tasks to deepen applied knowledge.
- Handle medical information carefully, maintaining both accuracy and confidentiality.
Who can apply
This opportunity is open only to applicants who can work from home, are able to begin between 29 June 2026 and 3 August 2026, can commit for 2 months, and have relevant skills and interest in the domain.
Stipend
The internship offers a monthly stipend in the range of INR 5,000 to INR 10,000.
