Role Summary

This position is responsible for leading inventory control and warehouse reconciliation work across the business. The role partners with operations, finance, SOX, internal and external auditors, and other stakeholders to maintain strong compliance, accurate records, and consistent inventory performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for inventory control and inventory management across the organization, including during new business integration efforts.
  • Coordinate a global program with operations, finance, SOX personnel, and audit teams to achieve compliance and delivery of expected outcomes.
  • Lead monthly and year-end cycle counts and physical inventory activities, then analyze and report inventory variances and reconciliation results.
  • Resolve warehouse on-hand balance differences between the internal ERP/WMS and supplier WMS platforms.
  • Make sure cycle count and physical inventory procedures are properly documented, current, and consistently followed.
  • Confirm that the correct approval authority is obtained and recorded for different levels of inventory adjustment.
  • Maintain archived documentation to support audit readiness and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor stock records, perform evaluation reporting, and support daily audit activities.
  • Review inventory best practices and recommend improvements in areas such as bin sizing, location labeling, adjustment controls, inventory segmentation, cycle count design, aged stock reporting and action plans, material flow, system adjustment rules, and reconciliation methods.
  • Oversee in-transit materials to protect data integrity and support compliant inbound receiving.
  • Work directly with third-party logistics providers to assess performance against contractual service levels.
  • Partner with finance to investigate and close gaps between book and physical inventory results.

Qualifications and Experience
