Role Overview

Unrivaled is looking for a Manager, E-commerce & Retail Operations to support the everyday running of its merchandise business. In this position, you will be the operational hub for online and in-person retail, helping manage the Shopify storefront, coordinating product launches, supporting inventory and fulfillment workflows, and keeping retail execution running smoothly.

The right person is comfortable solving Shopify problems, partnering with designers on launches, reviewing sales data, and stepping into a busy retail setting during game weekends or special events. The role reports to the Director of Retail Operations and collaborates closely with the Revenue, Creative, Marketing, and Operations teams, along with outside vendors.

E-commerce Operations

• Take ownership of the daily management and continuous improvement of the Shopify store.
• Create and update product pages, collections, promotions, landing pages, and site content.
• Make sure product launches, collaborations, and merchandise drops go live correctly and on time.
• Track website performance, customer experience, and opportunities to improve conversion.
• Resolve e-commerce issues and work with external developers or platform partners when needed.
• Maintain connections between fulfillment, inventory, payment, and customer service systems.

Merchandise & Launch Coordination

• Help plan and coordinate seasonal launches, limited releases, and merchandise collaborations.
• Work with Marketing and Creative teams so product assets, messaging, and timelines stay aligned.
• Support promotion planning and execution across both digital and physical channels.
• Assist with maintaining launch calendars and overall project schedules.

Retail Operations

• Support the daily running of physical retail locations and event-based retail activations.
• Assist with staffing, training, and retail execution during league events and special programs.
• Act as the on-site retail lead when required, including game weekends, doubleheaders, and special events.
• Help deliver a consistent fan and customer experience across every retail interaction.

Inventory & Fulfillment

• Track inventory levels and support demand planning efforts.
• Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment partners to keep orders moving accurately and on time.
• Assist with inventory transfers, reconciliations, and stock control.
• Monitor sell-through trends and spot replenishment needs.

Reporting & Analytics

• Review sales results across e-commerce and retail channels.
• Prepare recurring reports covering product performance, inventory, and customer behavior.
• Use data to find ways to improve conversion, average order value, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in e-commerce, retail operations, merchandising, or a closely related area.
• Practical, hands-on experience using Shopify.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional work involving marketing, creative, and operations teams.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical ability and proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and events based on business needs.
• Interest in sports, culture, fashion, and fan experiences.
